Sanitary Butterfly Valves

Turning flow on and off is a recurring activity in any plant operation with liquid products. The opening and closing process must take place in a simple and effective manner. CSE sanitary butterfly valves are your best choice for this type of application. These stainless steel valves have large opening areas thereby reducing flow resistance and providing gentler treatment of liquid products.

The valve body and disc are CNC machined from T-304 and T-316L stainless steel. All valves have been 100% pressure tested before shipping, and they are certified to meet 3A Standards. These valves come with EPDM seals. Viton and silicone seals are also available.

For manual operation, CSE offers the new 12-position lockable handle which rotates 180 degrees. This allows the valve to be used from right to left. CSE butterfly valves can be easily fitted with vertically mounted CSE air actuators. Air actuated valves are available with switches and solenoid enclosed within a stainless steel cover. They are also available with proximity switches and disc positioners.

CSE sanitary butterfly valves come with Tri-Clamp ends and butt weld ends in sizes 1",1.5", 2", 2.5", 3" and 4". Metric sizes and other type end connections such as SMS and DIN 11851 are also available upon request.

Sanitary Ball Valves

CSE Sanitary Ball Valves are your best choice for high purity process applications. These are manufactured from T-316 stainless steel. Wetted parts are electropolished to meet your exacting demands for hygiene. Manual and actuated service are available.

Applications: Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food & Beverage, Semiconductor, Vacuum Systems, High Purity Gases & Water, Cosmetics and Chemicals.

Design Features:
* 3-piece body swing-out design allows for easy in-line maintenance.
* True tube straight-through full port design minimizes pressure drop, and eliminates trap areas.
* Bottom entry blow-out proof stem.
* ISO 5211 mounting pad allows for direct mounting of actuator to valve, no mounting hardwares required.

These are available with Tri-Clamp end connections in sizes 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1.5" and 2"

SMS Fittings

An SMS connection is composed of an SMS-13R round nut, an SMS-14 plain liner, an SMS-15 threaded male and a gasket. The SMS -14 plain liner has a flat face while the SMS-15 threaded male is profiled to fit the flat gasket. This design minimizes product entrapment which is very important for hygienic applications such as in the dairy and beverage industries. These connections are particularly useful in flow diverter panels.

SMS fittings are made from both T-304 and T316L stainless steel. Sizes are DN25 (1"), DN38 (1.5"), DN51 (2"), DN63.5 (2.5"), DN76 (3") and DN101.6 (4"). EPDM, Silicone and Viton seals are available.
